Gem City Saloon & Eatery: Your Go-To Destination for Irresistible Burgers and Pizza in Baraboo

Food was delicious. The pizza was worth it, I only saw one person attending the bar and the table and with that still providing great service. I did go with my son and nephew so not exactly kid friendly but they both enjoyed their food.

Great food and service. I had the Philly sandwich and fries and my husband had the shrimp basket. Both great! This was during lunch at noonish and it was starting to get busy but still didn’t seem too noisy. We will be going back.

My wife and I always stop at a local bar and grill on our travels. We were not disappointed at the food and service as we stopped in for a late lunch passing through Baraboo. The thin crust pizza, carnivore, was way over the top with great toppings. We will be back again.

An old, Gem, of a place. I know, right. Kidding aside...It's a very old building with some real history. Definitely old school. As in...It's not filled with tons of fancy tables, and decor. It's tables and chairs, and a fairly large bar area, w/ tv's, some gaming stations, and more. But the food was really good. The burgers in particular. And when tater tots are on the menu, you order them. And when Edmund Fitzgerald Porter is on tap, you also order it. I would definitely come back here for both food and beers.

Very cool place! Old time saloon vibe in a 100 year old building. Had the pizza and it was yummy. Deep dish bread like rectangular style heavy on the ingredients. Well worth the time and effort to find this place. Building has soul the staff is so friendly it was like being with an old friend. Locals hang out and visit with each other. Can’t wait to go there again. If your anywhere near this place do yourself a favor and check it out.

Drove from the dells to go here based on the reviews, and i was not disappointed at all. This place is 10/10. Food is freaking amazing, and its reasonably priced which is the best part. The drinks? Absolutely delicious. The bartender shelly is top tier. She gave us recommendations, options, and made it an awesome experience. Even the other servers were nice and stopped to talk with us. Will definitely be making this our new Tuesday date night experience for our dells trips this summer.

This place got my heart. The vibe is so pure Wisconsin as my husband and friend approve. Excellent food Good cheese curds, nice fried pickles. Pizza is the next level. We got the deluxe pizza (small size) and we can only finish almost half. Absolutely love this place!!!

The pizza here is fantastic!!! Yes, the pizza is absolutely delicious. The Gem City Pizza was tasty. All the flavors from the Italian Sausage, pepperoni, and the veggies came together to deliver some absolutely great flavor. The house made crust was unique and flavorful, crunchy and hearty. Can’t say enough about the service. Took care of us very well and was there to help with menu and beer. Kudos to the kitchen and our awesome service. Don’t walk here, run and grab yourself some delicious pizza.
